Banned Book Week

September 25-October 2 is Banned Book week.  Come learn which novel has been called a “filthy, filthy book”, and which was warned to “corrupt the minds of young people”.  See which of your favorite books have been challenged, banned, or burned!

You are invited to browse through the display, and make sure to read the clever quotes about censorship and its wicked ways. Don’t miss the interactive pop-up books, where you can test your knowledge of favorite banned books and authors.

Celebrate your freedom to read and your first amendment rights!
