USF, your sexual health matters. With this as their guiding message, USF seniors Ilana Shoyket and Hannah Cobb have created a library display on sexual health in conjunction with their campus wide “Get Tested” campaign. Get Tested is a social marketing campaign that informs USF students about sexually transmitted infections (STIs), encourages testing for STIs, and connects students to nearby testing centers and sexual health clinics. The goal is to empower students to claim their sexual health. Ilana and Hannah explain that the campaign is in response to “the desperate need of inclusive sexual health care as we do not have an on-campus clinic nor free contraceptive/sexual protection on campus.” Many thanks to Ilana and Hannah for their expertise and efforts in designing this informative display!
Gleeson Library invites USF students to create library displays on social justice issues near and dear to you. You come up with the idea and design your own signage. The library will supply the space and the books. Sound intriguing? We’d love to hear from you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to collaborate on a student social justice exhibit.
